Fiscal responsibility 

Short term plans should be to “live within fiscal means, cut waste while maintaining, enhancing    and developing infrastructure” 

Long term plans should be to increase tax base revenues thru population growth and industry development 

 

Leadership responsibility 

Work with all elected officials to bring harmony and cooperation for the common good of Meriwether County citizens. 

 

Treat all citizens with dignity and respect, expecting a sense of cooperation and willingness to resolve problems together. 

 

Rosla retired from Warm Springs Regional Fisheries Center in 2013 after nineteen years of service beginning in 1993.  Prior work experience included sixteen years as a Radiologic Technologist (American Registry), Meriwether County Commissioner (First Female Meriwether County Commissioner), and Congressional staff liaison for Third District Congressman Richard Ray.  Rosla graduated from Columbus State University (formerly Columbus College) in 1992 with a Master of Science as well as a Bachelor of Science in 1988.   

 

Rosla began work with the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service in October 1993 as Office Automation Assistant with career advancement to Park Ranger.  Rosla was involved in Centennial Celebrations for Warm Springs National Fish Hatchery (1998) and Private John Allen Hatchery, 2003 Refuge Centennial Celebrations at Okefenokee and Regional Office, Fisheries Celebration at Regional Office, SEAFWA (Southeast Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies) at Hilton Head, SC, WAS (World Aquaculture Society) at New Orleans; Historic D.C. Booth NFH Celebration at Spearfish, SD; Bassmasters at Birmingham, AL and Charlotte, NC; over thirteen years of managing all aspects of Fisharamas in Atlanta and Perry for Georgia Wildlife Federation; nineteen years of managing all aspects of Kids Fish for Fun; as well as many other outreach events.  Rosla has managed multiple large national meetings for the Fish and Wildlife Service, both on site as well as off site, to include registration, invitational travel for speakers, and hotel/lodging contracts. 

 

While working with Congressman Richard Ray as Congressional Aide, Rosla provided lead administrative duties to conduct a House Subcommittee Hearing on Medicare review, assist with all aspects of Third District Congressional Outreach, provide assistance to constituents with lead duties for Social Security, Internal Revenue, Medicare, Health and Human Services, as well as many other federal and state agencies.
