On 05/29/2020 The Warm Springs Police Department responded to a burglary at 55 Broad st, also known as Mountain Crafts. The Warm Springs Police Department was assisted by the Meriwether County Sheriffs Office on scene. Shortly After arriving a suspect was identified and located. When officers attempted to talk to the individual, who was identified as a Matthew Prillaman, he fled on foot. Officers gave chase and lost the subject where he was temporarily staying at a local hotel.  At that location evidence was located that tied Mr. Prillaman to the recent burglary. The Coweta County sheriffs office and Spalding County Sheriff office dispatched helicopters to our location to assist in the location of Mr. Prillaman. The Meriwether county Sheriffs office along with the Dept of Corrections put a bloodhound on the ground to track his whereabouts. After a long search Mr. Prillaman was not located and had actually left the area towards Manchester.  Warrants were taken for Mr. Prillaman and if anyone knows the whereabouts of him you are asked to call 911 or the Warm Springs Police Department (706) 655-9096 or the Meriwether County Sheriffs office at (706) 672-4489.
