This morning Meriwether County will reopen it’s offices to the general public for the first time in almost months. Offices included are all Court House Offices (Which actually have been serving the public since the start of the outbreak.) Tax Commissioner Tag Office, Tax Assessor’s Office, Animal Services, County Administration, and Building and Zoning. All offices will be open with social distancing conditions in place. All offices are asking the public to wear an approved face covering and have their temperature checked per the Governor’s executive order to protect not only our staff but other members of the public. If you do not have a face covering one will be provided for you. Elections have been open to accommodate early voting.
