Meriwether County Sheriff Chuck Smith, Chief Deputy Byron Hadley and Staff, along with Meriwether County Fire Chief Alan Smith, Assistant Fire Chief Danny Stephens and Fire/EMS Personnel wish to thank the Meriwether County Cattleman’s Association for putting on a 1st Responders Appreciation Luncheon. They pulled their grill in the parking lot of the Meriwether County Sheriff’s Office and cooked all 1st responders a hot hamburger meal with all the trimmings, beans, chips, drinks and desserts. Brian McDaniel made it a point to make sure that we knew that these burgers were from “Georgia” grown beef. Everyone knew this was the real deal after the first bite, no artificial filler in these burgers, it all tasted great. These Cattlemen kept telling all the 1st Responders how much they appreciated what we all do. On behalf of the Meriwether County S.O. and Meriwether County F.D. 1st Responders we want to thank all of you for taking your time and resources to do this luncheon on our behalf. It takes us all working together to make Meriwether County a “Great” place to live and work.
Thanks again, to the Meriwether County Cattleman’s Association, “Team Beef”, Members: Darrell McCoy, Brian McDaniel, David Dukes, Lanny Rampley, Dru Goodwin, Richard Smith, Floyd Strickland, Jack Murphy and Jill Murphy, along with all those who supported this luncheon.
