Meriwether County Georgia proposes to construct a full service recreational park on a 25 acre parcel located along McLaughlin Road in Meriwether County, Georgia (See Figures 1-3). The site is currently completely forested with a mix of planted pine and hardwoods. Approximately 12 acres of the tract will be graded to allow for a grassed play field, ADA walking trail, pavilion, bathrooms, dog park, and adequate parking. The balance of the acreage will remain in its natural forested state, except for nature trails that will be developed within the undisturbed area but will be constructed to minimize disturbance to the land and existing habitat.
